The Eden Police Department has arrested four young men from the Eden area of Rockingham County for a robbery that happened at a pizza restaurant last week.
That’s when Eden Police detectives, Sergeant Paul Moore and investigators Andy Johnson and Ronnie Markham, were able to identify the suspects in the armed robbery of Tee’s Pizza, located at 115 North Fieldcrest Road.
It was on Monday, January 23rd, that Eden officers received a 911 call from the restaurant. The employees of Tees Pizza told officers that they were closing the business and they went outside and that’s when they were approached by three black men displaying a firearm. Once the robbers got the money, they fled from the scene.
The four arrested so far include:
17-year-old Devron Jacqua Dillard of 11161 NC 87 in Eden. Dillard was charged with one count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. He was placed in the Rockingham County Jail under a $500,000 secured bond.
20-year-old William Bowman of 153 Henderson Road in Eden was charged with one count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. He was placed in the Rockingham County Jail under a $300,000 secured bond.
17-year-old Colon Vincent Golden of 712 Gordon Street in Eden was charged with one count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. He was placed in the Rockingham County Jail under a $750,000 secured bond.
And 18-year-old Antonio Maurice Lowe of 815 Bridge Street in Eden was also charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. He was placed in the Rockingham County Jail under a $500,000 secured bond.
Soon to be arrested is 16-year-old Tavon Christopher Wilson of 712 Gordon Street in Eden. Like the others, Wilson will be charged with one count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. Wilson has not been charged as of yet, but Eden investigators know his whereabouts and are working to have the warrant served.
All five young men will face a judge in Rockingham County District Court on February 15th.
Investigators did not say if the five are in any way suspects in three other robbery cases that happened in Eden over a period of seven days. But according to Lt. Clint Simpson, who is the chief of detectives for the Eden Polcie Department, he said the investigation continues and anyone with additional information concerning the Tee’s Pizza case, or any of the armed robberies the Super Mart, Shoe Show or Starlite Technology should contact the Eden Police Department at (336) 623-9755.
