Cone Health has announced that two urologists have joined the medical staff of Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.
Doctors Stephen Dahlstedt and John Wrenn will see patients in Reidsville as part of a partnership between Annie Penn Hospital and Alliance Urology.
Dahlstedt and Wrenn will share an office in the Annie Penn Medical Office Building at 621 S. Main Street.
Mickey Foster, President of Annie Penn Hospital said, “Many residents of Rockingham County travel to Greensboro and Alliance Urology for urological problems or conditions. By having Alliance Urology in Reidsville, people can benefit from the outstanding regional reputation and expertise at Annie Penn Hospital without leaving our community.”
Alliance Urology will use many Annie Penn Hospital services, including laboratory, radiology and surgery. Most surgical procedures can be done at Annie Penn Hospital with the exception of robotic surgery.
Dahlstedt and Wrenn will see men and women for a variety of urinary track and male reproductive issues such as urinary incontinence, bladder stone retrieval/removal, and bladder, prostate and kidney biopsies.
Both doctors will maintain practice hours at the Alliance Urology main office in the North Elam Medical Practice in Greensboro (which is at Wesley Long Hospital.)
Dr. Dahlstedt is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia and performed his residency at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
Dr. Wrenn attended medical school at the University of Tennessee and performed his residency at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. |
